Dr. Todd Wasserman studied animal physiology and neuroscience as an undergraduate at the University of California at San Diego and went on to earn his dental degree and credentials from Northwestern University Dental School in 1998, which at the time was rated among the best dental schools in the country. He then completed post-graduate training in a General Practice Residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. Regarded among his peers as a leader in the dental field, Dr. Wasserman has been repeatedly recognized by Consumer CheckBook Magazine since 2011 as one of the most accomplished dentists in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Dr. Wasserman received a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a prestige awarded to only 6% of all dentists practicing throughout the United States and Canada.
Currently, Dr. Wasserman serves as the president of the Maimonides Dental Society. He is also passionately involved in providing pro-bono dental care to remaining survivors of the Holocaust through the Jewish Social Services Agency. He rigorously continues his dental education while being involved in a wide variety of professional organizations, including The Maimonides Dental Society, Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Potomac Valley Study Club.
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, outside the office Dr. Wasserman is the proud father of two children and remains a constant fitness and nutrition enthusiast.
